What Is RF Auto-Tuning?
RFAuto‐TuningisatechniqueyoucanusetoconfigureyourRF(radio)network.RFAuto‐Tuning
isaquickmethodthatrequiresminimalconfigurationandnoRFplanningorsitesurveys,and
instead,reliesontheAutoTunefeaturetosetAPchannelsandpowersettings.
Thisisagreat
waytoquicklyinstallaRoamAboutswitchandAPs,andobservehowthenetwork
operates.TheRFAuto‐TuningtechniqueisbestsuitedtonetworkscontainingfewerAPs.

Tousethistechnique:
1. Physically
placeyourequipment(RoamAboutswitchesandAPs)inthedesiredlocations.

3. UploadtheRoamA boutswitchconfigurationintoaRoamAboutSwitchManager(RASM)
networkplan.
4. Createaserviceprofile.
5. Createaradioprofile(orusethedefaultradioprofile).
6. Maptheserviceprofiletoyourradio
profile.
7. CreateAPs.
8. ApplyaradioprofiletoeachradioonanAP.
