Generate Alarm Reports
RASMprovidesthecapabilitytoexportfaultdataintheformofreports.Youcangeneratethe
followingreports:
•AlarmSummary—Providesthetotalnumberofcurrentfaultsinthesystemandidentifies
thembytype,source,severityorstate.
•AlarmHistory—Providesalistofallfaultsinthesystemthatwereactive
withinaspecified
timeperiod.Userscansortthefaultsbysource,severity,orcategory.
• Security—ProvidesareportofDoSandIDSalarms.
•ClientOUI—ProvidesalistofalarmsaccordingtotheOrganizationallyUniqueIdentifierof
theclientforwhichthealarmsweregenerated.
Alarm Summary Report
TheAlarmSummaryreportprovidesanoverallviewoftotalcurrentfaultsinthesystem.The
reportidentifiesthefaultsbytype,source,severity,orstate.
TogenerateanAlarmSummaryreport:
1. ClickAlarmSummaryintheTaskpanelunderReports.TheAlarmSummaryReportdialog
boxappears.
2. Selectoneofthe
followingReportScopeTypes:
•NetworkPlan
• MobilityDomain
•Site
• Building
• Floor
3. SelectthedesiredReportScopeInstanceinthelist.
4. Ifnecessary, browsetothedesiredoutputdirectorybyclickingintheOutputDirectorybox.
NavigatetothedesiredlocationandclickSelect.
5. ClickGenerateinthebottomrightcorner.
6. Afterthereportgenerationiscomplete,
clickthebluehyperlinkintheResultsboxtoviewthe
report.Thereportwillopeninanewwindowandwillbesavedatthepreviouslyselected
location.
7. ClickCloseinthebottomrightcorneroftheAlarmSummaryReportdialogbox.
